Hello! I have been working and living in Munich for fourteen years. By profession I’m a journalist, but I only worked in a local paper during communist times. I had, so to say, an opinion that differed a tiny bit from my head-editor. That is why I had to look for another job very quickly. Later I worked in many different fields. I was a farmer, was in advertisement, was mayor, head-editor in a variety of magazines and had my own small radio-station. I’m in Germany because of my lovely wife Dora. These days I’m a small business-owner and of course a photographer.

I have been taking photographs for almost 40 years. In communistic Poland in the 1980s, everything was in short supply, including photographic equipment. I was head of a small cultural center at the time. With difficulty, I managed to buy a Zenith camera, a few lenses and modest equipment for the darkroom. I remember the long nights spent developing film and then photographs. There was something magical in it, when on a white sheet of paper, after putting it into a cuvette with developer, an image slowly emerged, in black and white then, of course. It was not a professional creation, of course.
My real adventure with photography began in 2001, when I became the lucky owner of an Olympus 2500L digital camera. "Gigantic" resolution of 5 million pixels! It was something. Equipped with such a beauty, I started to earn my first money on photography. I must mention that photography is not my main source of income. First of all, it is supposed to give me joy. The next camera was a Fuji FinePix S9500, which I used for almost 10 years. The next camera was a Nikon 5500D, a DSLR with a resolution of 24 million pixels. It was thanks to this camera that I started designing calendars and cooperating with the Calvendo publishing house in Munich. I'm currently shooting with a Sony Alpha & II R full frame camera and I think this will be my partner in photographic adventure for many years to come.
